This privacy policy describes how YS Tech Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide on this website (ystechservices.com).
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The subject and message you choose to send
- The general type of service you’re asking about
We also passively collect technical information through standard web hosting and analytics tools: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This is normal website-traffic data — we do not use it to identify individuals.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up on the work you’re asking about
- To keep records of customer interactions for our own service quality
- To improve the website (which pages people visit, where the site has issues, etc.)
That’s it. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketing partners. We do not put you on email lists you didn’t request.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are stored in our website database for as long as we maintain a customer relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete them. Inactive inquiries that do not lead to work are typically removed within 12 months.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only with the following service providers, and only as needed to operate this website and respond to you:
- Our web host, which stores the website and form submissions on its servers (HostGator)
- Email providers (Google Workspace or similar) used to receive and respond to inquiries
- Square Appointments, if you book an appointment through our site — in that case Square’s privacy policy also applies
We do not use your contact information for advertising or share it with third-party advertisers.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies, mostly for essential website operation (e.g., keeping form fields populated, anti-spam protection). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work, though some convenience features may not.
Affiliate links
Some links in our blog posts are affiliate links to tools we use and recommend (for example, online backup or VPN services). If you click through and sign up, the company may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links are clearly identified in the post.
